November 28, 2023

The syndrome of premature ejaculation is similar to spermatorrhea. The treatment of premature ejaculation focuses on nourishing yin and clearing heat, or securing the essence gate. Different causes lead to different symptoms, so as long as the cause is identified and targeted treatment is given, the desired therapeutic effect can be achieved quickly.

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment for premature ejaculation:

From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the main cause of premature ejaculation is dual deficiency of the liver and kidneys. Kidney deficiency leads to poor nourishment of the liver, which damages the liver meridian system. The liver meridian "surrounds the two yin" and if liver qi is stagnant due to depression, it generates coldness. When yang qi cannot be secured, premature ejaculation occurs. The treatment method focuses on dispelling cold and tonifying the kidneys. By tonifying the kidneys, the stagnation of the liver meridian can be resolved, and at the same time, the liver can be nourished. The main prescriptions used are Si Ni Tang, Bai Tong Tang, and Fu Zi Li Zhong Tang. In the treatment process, the principle of differentiation should be followed, and corresponding medicines should be used promptly for other symptoms.

Si Ni Tang: Baked Licorice (50g), Dried Ginger (40g), Prepared Aconite (30g)

Bai Tong Tang: Spring Onion Bulb (4 stems), Dried Ginger (10g), Prepared Aconite (20g)

Fu Zi Li Zhong Tang: Red Ginseng (20g), White Atractylodes (40g), Dried Ginger (50g), Prepared Aconite (30g), Baked Licorice (15g)
