Method:
First, apply a lubricating oil to your legs and sit on a bed or sofa with your legs naturally bent, so that your calves are in a relaxed state. Then, scrape from the knee to the heel with the gua sha board for 20 minutes every day (or 100 times on each leg).
1. Direction: Start from the bend of the knee and scrape downwards. Each time, only scrape in one direction, do not scrape back and forth like scrubbing. (If you have varicose veins or edema in your lower limbs, you must scrape from bottom to top to improve blood circulation. Otherwise, the opposite direction will worsen the condition. If you don't have these conditions, both directions are fine, but scraping from bottom to top is better, as it helps relax tired legs and improve blood circulation.)
2. Strength: You must scrape with relatively strong and fast strokes! (Of course, the harder the better, within your own tolerance. As long as you persist in scraping, you will see results.)
