Eczema is not new to us, and many of us have had similar experiences with children and adults at home, so what exactly is eczema? How does eczema cause it? Here's a summary of what you need to know about eczema.

What is eczema?

Eczema is a common skin condition that is caused by a variety of internal and external factors that cause inflammation in the epidermis and superficial dermis of the skin. Eczema is usually divided into three periods: acute, subacute, and chronic. The acute phase is dominated by papules, which are mainly exudative; the chronic phase is dominated by mossiness, which is mainly recurrent and itchy.

Chronic infections cause eczema

Chronic infectious diseases have a wide range, it mainly refers to a group of diseases caused by inflammation of tissues or organs in a certain part of the body, for example: chronic cholecystitis, tonsillitis, intestinal parasites and so on. When such diseases develop to a certain extent and infect the human skin, they will cause an inflammatory reaction in the skin.

Endocrine disorders cause eczema

Endocrine disorders are a manifestation of the endocrine system and the nervous system working together to regulate the metabolic and physiological functions of the body. When the body has endocrine disorders, it will lead to an unstable internal environment (especially in women's menstrual disorders are more common), the body's immune function is relatively lower, resulting in skin infections and the chances of eczema increase.

Blood circulation disorders cause eczema

The blood circulation system is a channel for the flow of blood in the body, mainly divided into the cardiovascular system and the lymphatic system, which has the function of transporting blood, regulating the balance of body fluids, maintaining the stability of the internal environment, body prevention, etc. Once the body's blood system is impaired, it will cause the possibility of lowering the skin's defense function to form eczema.

Allergies cause eczema

Allergic factors are the most direct factors that cause eczema, generally due to their own genetic allergies and external allergic substances caused by the body's allergic reaction, resulting in eczema on the skin. For example: consumption of fish, shrimp, crab; inhalation of pollen, dust mites, fur, microorganisms (bacteria, fungi); harsh sun exposure, hot and dry environment; consumption of cosmetics, soap and other chemical substances.
