Slowing Down Age Spots: Effective Measures for Youthful Skin

April 8, 2024

As people age, they often develop a brownish pigmentation on their skin, especially on the face, in the form of flat, slightly raised patches ranging in color from brown to yellowish-beige. This condition is commonly known as age spots or liver spots. Modern medical research has shown that the following measures can effectively slow down the formation of age spots.

Take vitamin E and vitamin C: Taking 100 milligrams of vitamin E and 300-500 milligrams of vitamin C daily for two years can significantly reduce the formation of arterial atherosclerosis plaques and age spots.

Eat more fruits and vegetables: Onions are particularly effective in reducing age spots because they contain sulfur and essential vitamins that can remove impurities from the body and keep it clean. Additionally, radishes, celery, spinach, almonds, dates, and other foods can help reduce age spots and delay skin aging, so it is advisable to consume them regularly.

Chew slowly: Chewing gum for 10-15 minutes every day or chewing slowly during meals can improve facial blood circulation and skin metabolism, delaying the formation of age spots.

Exercise regularly: Regular exercise can delay the formation of age spots.

Psychological adjustment: Avoiding depression and resentment and maintaining an optimistic, cheerful, and positive mindset can help maintain vitality and prevent the formation of age spots.
