What is doping test

Doping Control Raised Sample Analysis

The official of the Doping Control Authority, after checking the test, shall immediately notify in writing the relevant Federation and then the Athlete and the officials of his or her Delegation in accordance with the prescribed procedures, and shall determine as soon as possible that the analysis of the test of the B-bottle urine Sample (retest) will be carried out in the same laboratory but by a different person. The Anti-Doping Agency, the relevant Federation and the Athlete's Delegation may send someone to observe the testing and analysis process.
If the B vial remains positive, the Athlete's Doping Control result will be determined to be positive.
Which athletes must be tested for doping
1. Athletes who win the first place or the top places in each event must be tested;
2. The first place winner of each event must be tested, and the second to eighth place winner must be randomly tested;
3、From the winners of each event (such as the top eight finalists), 1 to several persons will be selected by lottery;
4、From all participants of each event, 1 to several persons will be selected by lot;
5、In collective events, 1 to several persons from each team will be selected by lottery;
6、In the competition items with records, all broken world records, continental records, national records or Games records must be examined.
