Arm muscle strain causes

Muscle strains are injuries caused by sharp contraction or excessive stretching of muscles during exercise. The pull-up itself uses the arms to hold the body. If people who do not exercise or exercise less in general suddenly do pull-ups, the muscle ligaments of the arm are easily strained. After the muscle strain, the strained arm area will be in severe pain, and the muscle tension will be felt as a hard lump, with obvious pain to the touch, localized swelling or subcutaneous bleeding, and movement will be significantly limited.

In the pull-ups, the arms keep a posture for a long time, so that the arm muscles and joints have been in a state of tension, it is easy to occur arm muscle spasm, and will make the lactic acid accumulation in the arm increase, thus causing arm pain.

Arm muscle fatigue

If you do pull-ups with too much intensity and too many times, the arm muscles will be in a tight state for a long time, exceeding the muscle load. This can lead to muscle fatigue and arm pain.

When you do pull-ups, you should use your latissimus dorsi muscle to generate force, so if your posture is not correct, you will use your arms to generate force, which will lead to arm pain after doing pull-ups.
