April 18, 2023
Many people have learned to meditate, and meditation in yoga is also a basic skill that can exercise the flexibility of the legs. But do you know when to practice meditation better? When is the best time to meditate?

When is the best time to meditate

There is no limit to the time of meditation, and the suitable time for each person may vary according to individual circumstances. But generally speaking, there are two times when meditation works best.

5-8 a.m.

After a night's rest, the brain is relatively awake, and it is easier to focus, so the sitting time will be relatively longer. Moreover, meditation can regulate one's physical and mental state, which can help to put in the best condition in the daytime work.

9-11pm

It is usually better to meditate one hour after dinner or just before going to bed, that is, the time period of 9-11 pm. One hour after dinner, the food has been initially digested, which will not harm the stomach and intestines, and will not hinder the effect of meditation. And if you meditate for a while before going to bed, you can relax your body and mind and improve the quality of sleep. It should be noted that meditation before bed should not be too long.

How long is the best time to meditate

Generally, when you start meditating, you can start with a few minutes and slowly increase. If you want to get better results from meditation, it is best to maintain the time for 15-30 minutes.

What to pay attention to when meditating

Do not meditate on an empty stomach

Do not meditate in the morning on an empty stomach, it is easy to cause damage to the heart. It is best to drink a glass of warm water or eat a banana, in short, do not have a sense of hunger to meditate.

Pay attention to preparation activities

Before meditating, you can do some light preparatory activities, such as walking, massage, tapping, etc., to relax the body joints.

Keep warm

In the morning and evening, the temperature is relatively low, so pay attention to the warmth of the knees and waist. It is best to cover your legs with a blanket or clothes.
