Tomato and Yam Porridge

  

  Ingredients(2 servings, 1 portion)

  

  Tomatoes...............100g

  

  Yam....................20g

  

  Hawthorn...............10g

  

  Glutinous rice..........100g

  Nourishes the spleen and stomach, boosts qi and blood, lowers blood pressure. Suitable for hypertension and other conditions.

  

  Preparation

  

  1. Soak the yam, wash and slice it; wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges; wash the hawthorn, remove the pit, and slice it; wash the glutinous rice and set aside.

  

  2. Put the glutinous rice, yam, and hawthorn in a pot, and add 800ml of water.

  

  3. Place the pot on high heat and bring it to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Add the tomatoes and simmer for another 10 minutes.

  

  Consumption

  

  Can be consumed in the morning and evening, 3 times a week, for a period of 3 months.

  

  Contraindications

  

  Not suitable for individuals with excess pathogenic factors.
