Recipes for Nourishing Qi and Blood with White Atractylodes

White Atractylodes, also known as Mountain Ginger, is commonly known as "Northern Ginseng and Southern Atractylodes". Both its roots and seedlings can be eaten. Its roots can be used as medicine, with the effects of drying dampness, promoting diuresis, invigorating the spleen and benefiting Qi, harmonizing the middle, promoting urination, stopping sweating, supporting the waist and knees, and promoting muscle growth. Recipe 1: White Atractylodes Wine

Ingredients: 50g White Atractylodes, appropriate amount of yellow wine.

Method: Dry the White Atractylodes first, grind it into fine powder, and put it in a bottle. Take an appropriate amount of White Atractylodes powder, add it to the yellow wine, heat it to boiling, and let it boil for 3-5 times. Drink the wine liquid 1-2 times a day.

Effects: This recipe has the effects of nourishing Qi, promoting Yang, and nourishing blood. It is beneficial to the spleen and stomach, and can also stabilize the fetus. Recipe 2: White Atractylodes and Crucian Carp Congee

Ingredients: 10g White Atractylodes, 1 crucian carp, 100g rice, salt to taste.

Method: Wash the White Atractylodes, boil it in water, and reserve the medicinal juice. Clean the crucian carp and remove the fish meat. Wash the rice. Put the rice and crucian carp meat in a pot, add water and cook into congee. When the congee is almost ready, add the medicinal juice and salt. Eat it once a day, continuously for 3-5 days.

Ingredients: 15g White Atractylodes, 5g Eucommia leaves, green tea to taste.

Method: Put the White Atractylodes and Eucommia leaves in a clay pot, add an appropriate amount of water, and boil for about 10 minutes. Then add the green tea and steep slightly. Drink it warm, 1 dose divided into 3 times a day. Long-term use will yield more significant effects.
