Nourishing Winter Melon Soup Recipes for Health and Weight Loss

Winter melon is a commonly used nutritious ingredient with a variety of cooking methods and high nutritional value. It is especially beneficial for making soups for health purposes. 1. Winter Melon Soup

Ingredients: 200g winter melon, half a spring onion, 1 slice of ginger, a pinch of salt.

Instructions: Cut the winter melon into thin slices, shred the ginger, and cut the spring onion into small pieces. Heat a little olive oil in a pot until it is 70% cooked, then stir-fry the shredded ginger until fragrant. Add the winter melon slices and a pinch of salt, stir-fry until slightly cooked. Then add water, cover the pot and simmer for 7 minutes. Finally, add chicken essence for seasoning, and sprinkle the spring onion as a garnish before serving.

2. Shrimp and Winter Melon Soup

Ingredients: 6 shrimp, 300g winter melon, 1 spring onion, a pinch of salt, a suitable amount of monosodium glutamate, a little olive oil.

Instructions: Peel and slice the winter melon, cut the spring onion into sections. Heat a little olive oil in a pot, stir-fry the spring onion until fragrant, then add the winter melon and stir-fry. Add water and salt, stew until the winter melon is slightly soft, then add the shrimp and stew for a while. Add monosodium glutamate and serve.


3. Winter Melon and Tomato Soup

Ingredients: 500g winter melon, 150g tomatoes, a pinch of salt, a suitable amount of chicken essence and star anise.

Instructions: Cut the winter melon into pieces, dice the tomatoes. Heat a little oil in a hot pot, stir-fry the tomatoes to release the juice, then add water. After boiling, add the remaining ingredients, a little salt, chicken essence, and star anise, and continue cooking for 15 minutes.

4. Winter Melon and Black Fungus Soup

Ingredients: winter melon, black fungus, coriander, light soy sauce, a pinch of salt.

Instructions: Soak the black fungus in water until it softens, slice the winter melon, and chop the coriander. Bring water to a boil in a pot, add the winter melon and soaked black fungus, a spoonful of light soy sauce, and a small amount of salt. Cook for ten minutes, then sprinkle the coriander on top and it's ready to eat.
