Medicinal Rice Porridge with Polygonatum Odoratum and Wolfberries: A Nourishing Delight

【Ingredients】

50g of fresh Polygonatum odoratum (20g when dried), 15g of wolfberries, 50g of glutinous rice, and an appropriate amount of white sugar.

【Instructions】

Wash the Polygonatum odoratum and extract the concentrated juice. Soak the wolfberries in warm water. Wash the glutinous rice and put it in a pot. Add the medicinal juice and a suitable amount of boiling water. Boil it over high heat and then simmer until the rice becomes porridge-like. Add the wolfberries and white sugar before serving.

(5) Wolfberries have blood sugar-lowering and cholesterol-lowering effects, and should not be consumed excessively by children. Pregnant women should not consume them.

(6) Take one dose daily, and a course of treatment consists of 10 doses.
