Air needle therapy is a treatment method that injects sterilized air or oxygen into acupoints to adjust the function of meridians. It has the effects of promoting blood circulation, dispersing stasis, reducing swelling, and relieving pain.
【Operational Method】
1. Needle Tools
Use a 5-10ml syringe with a 5-6 2/1 injection needle. After sterilization, prepare for use.
2. Procedure: Select the acupoints, disinfect the skin routinely, use a prepared empty needle (with a sterilized cotton ball on the needle tip) to draw in filtered air, quickly insert the needle into the acupoint to a certain depth (about 1 inch), retract the needle slightly after obtaining the air, and if there is no blood, slowly inject the air. Inject 3-5ml of air into each acupoint, after injection is complete, remove the needle, press the needle hole with a dry cotton ball, and gently massage for a moment. Inject once every other day or every two days.
