Wooden Needle Tube

(From "A General History of Chinese Medicine")

Description: Made of wood, 2.6cm tall and 4cm long. The front of the needle tube is engraved with the words "Ancestral Needle Tube" in seal script. Currently housed in the Medical History Museum of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Ivory Needle Case

(From "A General History of Chinese Medicine")

Description: Qing Dynasty. 1.5cm tall, 10cm long, 2cm wide. The outer edge is engraved with landscape and figure motifs in dark ink. Currently housed in the Medical History Museum of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Bamboo Carved Needle Tube

(From "A General History of Chinese Medicine")

Description: Qing Dynasty. 10.5cm tall, 1.5cm in diameter. The top and bottom covers are made of ivory, and the outer layer of the needle tube is carved with figures. Currently housed in the Medical History Museum of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Ivory Needle Tube

Description: Qing Dynasty. 22.5cm long, 1.2cm in diameter. The cover is decorated with a tiger-shaped button. The front is engraved with the words "Autumn in One Color" in seal script, and the back is engraved with orchid and plum blossom patterns. Currently housed in the Medical History Museum of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
