Knitting Needle (excerpt from "A General History of Chinese Medicine")
Introduction: Ming Dynasty. Unearthed from the Xiaqun tomb in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, it measures 5.7cm in length and is made of strong and durable wood. The surface is smooth and delicate, resembling a bone needle, and it was used for draining pus. It is currently housed in the Jiangyin City Museum.
