A needle tube is a small cylindrical tube made of metal or plastic, with a fine needle placed inside. The length of the tube should be slightly shorter than the selected needle. When using it, the left hand presses the tube onto the acupuncture point, while the right hand flicks the exposed needle tip inside the tube, swiftly inserting the needle into the skin, and then removing the tube to continue with the needle manipulation. This method can avoid the pain sensation when inserting the needle.
