Sanqi powder has powerful health benefits, especially for middle-aged and elderly people who often suffer from various health problems. Many middle-aged and elderly people choose to use Sanqi powder as a traditional Chinese medicine for health maintenance.


 

  1. The efficacy of Sanqi powder:

  Sanqi powder is a star herb in traditional Chinese medicine, with effects such as skin whitening, blood circulation improvement, detoxification and liver protection, hemostasis and dispersing stasis, swelling reduction and pain relief, anti-tumor, immune function enhancement, delaying aging, blood sugar regulation, and lipid-lowering.

  2. "Six Don'ts" when consuming Sanqi powder:

  1. Don't consume with foods that hinder absorption

  Sanqi should not be consumed with broad beans, fish, or acidic foods, as these foods can greatly reduce the absorption of nutrients from Sanqi. It is recommended to avoid consuming these foods when taking Sanqi powder.

  2. Don't consume when having a cold

  People with a cold should not take Sanqi powder. Sanqi powder has warm properties and can aggravate the symptoms of wind-heat type cold. However, it can be consumed by those with wind-cold type cold.

  3. Don't wait until you are sick to consume

  4. Don't consume too much Sanqi powder

  3. Usage of Sanqi powder:

  1. High blood lipids

  Take 1 gram of Sanqi powder before meals, three times a day, for 1-2 months as one treatment course.

  2. Gastric bleeding

  Take 1.5 grams of Sanqi powder three times a day, with warm water.

  3. Angina

  Take 6 grams of Sanqi powder twice a day with warm water for good results.

  4. Blood disorders

  For conditions such as vomiting blood, traumatic bleeding, postpartum bleeding, and syncope, take 5-10 grams of Sanqi powder and mix with white wine for topical application to reduce swelling and relieve pain. It can also be applied with sugar to fractures to promote healing.

  Take 3 grams of Sanqi powder with warm water twice a day for 20 consecutive days as one treatment course.

  6. Chronic headaches

  Grind earthworm and chuanxiong into fine powder, and take 10 grams of Sanqi powder with warm water three times a day.

  7. Headaches caused by cerebral concussion

  Take 3 grams of Sanqi powder twice a day with warm water. Take for 15 consecutive days as one treatment course.

  8. Enlarged prostate

  Take 3 grams of Sanqi powder and 2 grams of pangolin powder three times a day with warm water. Take for 20 consecutive days as one treatment course.

  9. Scar tissue

  Take an appropriate amount of Sanqi powder, mix with vinegar to form a paste, and apply it to the affected area twice a day.

  10. Numbness in the hands and feet

  Take 5 grams of Sanqi powder, steam it with 50 grams of lean pork, and take it once a night for one week.

  11. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases

  Mix 3-5 grams of Sanqi powder with an appropriate amount of honey, dissolve in 400-500 ml of boiling water, and drink twice a day, once in the morning and once before bedtime.

  13. Nervous exhaustion, insomnia, poor appetite, and weakness

  4. Raw or cooked consumption of Sanqi powder?

  There are two main methods of consuming Sanqi powder: raw consumption and cooked consumption. Raw consumption mainly focuses on promoting blood circulation and dispersing stasis, while cooked consumption mainly focuses on blood supplementation.

  1. Raw consumption

  For raw consumption of Sanqi powder, experts recommend a daily dosage of 3-5 grams. It can be taken with milk or warm water, split into two servings, with each serving containing 2-3 grams.

  2. Cooked consumption

  Add 10-20 grams of Sanqi powder to stewed chicken or pork ribs. After the chicken or ribs are cooked, simmer for ten minutes. Sanqi powder can also be directly stir-fried and consumed, or directly dissolved in hot water. However, stir-fried Sanqi powder is rarely used for making tea.

  5. Timing of Sanqi powder consumption

  1. Morning consumption: immune enhancement, anti-aging

  Take around 3 grams of Sanqi powder in the morning with warm water. This can enhance immune function and anti-aging.

  2. Evening consumption: aids sleep

  It is best to take Sanqi powder before meals in the evening, as it can help improve sleep quality. If taken after meals, it should be in small amounts, preferably not exceeding 3 grams.   3. Empty stomach or after meals
