【Precautions for Stroke】

1. Hypertension is the most dangerous factor for stroke. Blood pressure should be effectively controlled by long-term medication and regular monitoring to ensure timely treatment.

2. Controlling and reducing transient ischemic attacks is a key step in preventing stroke. Once a minor stroke occurs, immediate systematic treatment should be given.

Massage technique: Use the fingertip or knuckle to press down and perform circular massage. The patient applies pressure to the acupoint with the tip of the thumb joint, exerting vertical force and rubbing to induce obvious sensations of soreness, numbness, distension, and pain. Hold for a few seconds and then gradually relax. Then use the base of the thumb to gently rub the acupoint back and forth until local heat is felt. Repeat this process, alternating between left and right. Press each acupoint for 5-10 minutes, once or twice a day.
