  [Dang Gui Ginger Lamb Soup]

  Ingredients: 12g Dang Gui, 12g ginger, 250g lamb, salt, and MSG to taste

  Method: Put the three ingredients in a pot, add water and boil. After the meat is cooked, add salt and MSG, simmer for a moment, and it is ready to be consumed.

  Effect: This soup is a famous recipe recorded in Zhang Zhongjing's "Jin Kui Yao Lue". It has the effects of warming the stomach, dispelling cold, and tonifying qi and blood.   Ingredients: 12g Dang Gui, 10g red dates, 12g hawthorn

  Method: Soak the red dates until they are soft, then wash them; wash the hawthorn and Dang Gui separately.

  Put the red dates, Dang Gui, and hawthorn in a clay pot, add water and boil, then simmer on low heat for 1 hour.

  Ingredients: 6g Dang Gui, 10g goji berries, 10g mulberry fruit, honey to taste

  Method: Wash the goji berries, mulberry fruit, and Dang Gui separately, then soak them slightly.

  Put all the ingredients in a clay pot, add water and boil. After boiling, simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Add honey for flavor when drinking.

  [Dang Gui Almond Stewed Pig Lungs]

  Ingredients: 10g Dang Gui, 15g almonds, 250g pig lungs

  Method: Wash the pig lungs and cut into slices. Blanch them in boiling water, then remove and stew with almonds and Dang Gui until cooked.

  Effect: Moistens the lungs and intestines, and promotes bowel movement.

  [Dang Gui Red Date Egg Soup]

  Ingredients: 10g Dang Gui slices, 20g pitted red dates, 20g longan flesh, 1 egg, brown sugar to taste

  Method: Soak the red dates, longan flesh, and Dang Gui in water, then wash them.

  Add an appropriate amount of water to a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the egg and cook until done.

  Peel the cooked egg and put it in the pot with the remaining ingredients. Stew for 10 minutes, then add brown sugar for flavor.

  Effect: Nourishes blood and qi, strengthens the spleen, and aids digestion. It is suitable for consumption at night.

  Precautions for using Dang Gui

  1. It is not suitable for consumption by people with chronic diarrhea, loose stools, and excessive bleeding.

  2. Use with caution for people with dampness and fullness in the middle burner.

  3. It is forbidden for people with excessive bleeding and pregnant women to consume Dang Gui.
