2. Cysts
They are deep inflammatory skin lesions and appear as normal or dark red in color. They can develop from nodules. The gland structure is completely destroyed, and the appearance is circular or elliptical with a fluctuating sensation upon touch, with pus and blood oozing out when pressed. They are more common in males. Severe cases can lead to disfiguring orange peel-like skin.
3. Acne Scars
Damage on top of inflammatory papules. Scarring occurs because the dermis is damaged and scars form after healing.
