For dry skin, it is the most sensitive during seasonal changes. Dehydration becomes more severe, so special care is needed for dry skin at this time.

1. Using soap for cleansing

Soap is alkaline and using it will make the skin even drier and dehydrated.

2. Using toners that are refreshing

Refreshing toners are more suitable for oily skin to control oil. For dry skin, using them will only make the skin drier and rougher.

Correct skincare methods

1. Use an oily eye makeup remover with a cotton pad to gently remove eye makeup. Oily products can improve dryness of the skin and won't harm the delicate skin around the eyes. Be careful not to use too much, as it can cause milia.

2. Use a cotton swab (medical cotton swabs, although sterilized, tend to shed cotton) dipped in eye makeup remover to apply to the roots of the eyelashes to remove any residue. Leaving mascara uncleansed can be harmful to the eyes and can make the skin around the eyes sag over time.


3. Choose to use emulsion-type cleansers. Apply cleanser gently to remove any leftover makeup on the face. Use a cotton pad with cleanser and wipe off any remaining makeup (be careful not to apply too much pressure and stretch the skin excessively).

4. Wash the face with cool water. This can help remove cleanser and also accelerate skin metabolism and blood circulation, brightening the complexion.

5. Use a tissue to remove water from the face. Take a cotton pad soaked in toner and gently pat the face from the forehead to the chin. This provides a second cleanse to the skin. Then, take another cotton pad soaked in toner and lightly tap it on the face for deep hydration.

6. Moisturizer is the most important step for hydration. Choose a product with a heavier texture that has strong water-locking properties, and lightly apply a thin layer.

7. Choose a sunscreen with SPF15 or higher that also has moisturizing effects.

Tips: Since dry skin is prone to severe dehydration, it is recommended to use a hydrating face mask once a week to alleviate dryness and provide the skin with adequate moisture.
