1. Incidence

Classification of acne by severity
1. Mild
Clinical manifestations include scattered or multiple comedones, with a small number of inflammatory papules.
2. Moderate
It presents with mild acne and shallow pustules. The number of inflammatory skin lesions is higher and is limited to the face.
3. Severe
It exhibits moderate acne with deep inflammatory nodules, occurring on the face, neck, and chest.
4. Severe with conglobate acne
It shows severe acne with cysts and is prone to scarring. It occurs on the upper body and may have three or more nodules and cysts.
