Beat the Heat with Homemade Green Bean Tremella Fruit Ice Porridge

The unbearable heat of summer is approaching, and people's appetites are affected by the weather. I will teach you how to make cooling ice porridge at home, so that the heat will not have a big impact on you.


Green Bean Tremella Fruit Ice Porridge

Ingredients:

Green beans 100g, Tremella 15g, 1 peach, watermelon as needed, cold water as needed.

Instructions:

Wash the green beans and soak them in cold water for 3 hours. Soak the Tremella in cold water until soft, then wash it.

Peel and dice the watermelon, remove the pit from the peach and cut it into slices.

Take a pot and add the soaked green beans and enough cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 40 minutes. Add the Tremella, rock sugar (or honey) and mix well. Cook for about 20 minutes. Add the watermelon pieces and peach slices, and cook for 3-5 minutes before removing from heat.

After the porridge cools naturally, transfer it to a bowl, seal it with plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator. It can be consumed after freezing for 20 minutes.

Effects: It clears the lungs, moisturizes dryness, cools down body heat, and relieves summer heat and greasiness.
