  Benefits of Consuming Soy Sauce

  1. Prevents Breast Cancer

The main component of soy sauce is soybeans, which contain various nutrients and isoflavones. The growth of malignant tumors requires the formation of new blood vessels. Isoflavones can prevent the formation of new blood vessels, thereby having an anti-cancer effect.

  2. Treats Stomach Pain

Take 30ml of soy sauce, 9g of tea leaves, and 150ml of water. Boil the tea leaves in water, then add soy sauce and boil. Take the juice and consume it in three doses.

  3. Prevents Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke

Soy sauce contains isoflavones, which can reduce cholesterol levels in the body and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Dark soy sauce (dark soy sauce) has antioxidant effects after entering the body, reducing the damage caused by free radicals to blood vessels, preventing arteriosclerosis, and reducing the occurrence of heart disease and stroke.

  4. Topically Treats Skin Itching

Mix equal parts of soy sauce and vinegar, and apply the mixture to the itchy area.

  Tips for Choosing Soy Sauce

  1. Look at the craftsmanship, color, usage, and ingredients

Craftsmanship: Check whether it is brewed or made. Soy sauce brewed using traditional methods has a better flavor and higher salt content. Soy sauce fermented using fast methods has lower salt content, but be cautious of excessive additives.

Color: Normal soy sauce is reddish-brown in color. Soy sauce of good quality may have a slightly darker color. However, if the color is too dark, it indicates the addition of caramel, which may result in inferior aroma and taste. Such soy sauce is only suitable for braising.

Usage: Soy sauce should be labeled for either table use or cooking. Soy sauce for table use should be directly consumed and have high hygiene standards. If it is for cooking, it should not be used directly for cold dishes.

Ingredients: You can determine whether the soy sauce is made from soybeans or defatted soybeans, whether it is non-genetically modified, and whether it contains wheat or bran by checking the ingredient list.

  2. Shake the bottle

Good soy sauce will produce a lot of foam when shaken and the foam will not dissipate easily. You can also smell the aroma by sticking your nose close to the bottle mouth.

  3. Taste

Good soy sauce has a delicious taste, while poor-quality soy sauce may taste bitter or astringent.
