Many people are bothered by athlete's foot, especially in summer when the temperature is higher and feet tend to sweat more. This is a common problem for many people. 1. Baking Soda for Athlete's Foot

In summer, when feet sweat a lot, it is easy to develop athlete's foot. Before going to bed at night, dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda (the one used for steamed buns) in warm water, and soak your feet in the baking soda water for about 10 minutes. Repeat this treatment two to three times for mild cases, and four to five times for severe cases.

2. Sichuan Pepper Salt Water for Athlete's Foot

Put 10 grams of Sichuan pepper and 20 grams of salt in water and simmer for a while. When the temperature is not too hot, soak your feet in the water for 20 minutes every night. Continue this treatment for a week to cure athlete's foot. The used Sichuan pepper salt water can be reheated and reused the next day. Use caution if there are ulcers or infections.

3. White Sugar for Athlete's Foot

After soaking your feet in warm water and cleaning them, take a small amount of white sugar and rub it on the affected area of athlete's foot. Rinse off the sugar without washing if desired. Repeat this treatment every two to three days. After three treatments, most cases of mild athlete's foot should be cured, especially for athlete's foot between the toes.

4. Acupressure for Athlete's Foot and Foot Odor

When washing your feet, soak both feet in warm water for two to three minutes until they become warm. Use the heel of one foot to press on the area between the toes of the other foot, then push the heel forward to the tip of the toes and back. Repeat this motion gently, pushing forward and pulling back, without rubbing the skin too hard. Rub each toe gap 50 to 80 times, alternating between feet. The speed should be 100 to 120 times per minute. Do this once every evening, but avoid this method if the athlete's foot is severe and the skin is already broken.

5. Salt and Ginger Water for Foot Odor

Add an appropriate amount of salt and a few slices of ginger to hot water and heat for a few minutes. When it is not too hot, soak your feet and scrub them for a few minutes. This not only eliminates foot odor but also provides a refreshing feeling and relieves fatigue.

6. Radish Boiling Water for Foot Odor

Take half a white radish, slice it, put it in a pot, and add enough water. Boil it for 3 minutes on high heat and then simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. Pour the mixture into a basin and wash your feet repeatedly after it has cooled to a suitable temperature. Repeat this several times to eliminate foot odor.

7. Boiled Soybean Water for Athlete's Foot

Crush 150 grams of soybeans and boil them in water for about 20 minutes over low heat. The water should be about 1 kilogram. When the water is warm enough to wash your feet, use it to soak your feet for a while. This method has excellent effects on treating athlete's foot without causing skin peeling and leaves the skin moisturized.

8. Fig Leaves for Athlete's Foot

Take a few fig leaves and boil them in water for about 10 minutes. When the water is at a suitable temperature, soak the affected foot for 10 minutes twice a day. Generally, it will be cured in three to five days.

9. White Vinegar for Prevention and Treatment of Colds and Athlete's Foot

For patients with athlete's foot, soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it to the affected area. This can relieve itching and kill bacteria, causing slight peeling. Apply it once and it can prevent recurrence for half a month. Apply it again if the symptoms reappear.

10. Willow Leaves for Athlete's Foot

Boil a handful of fresh willow leaves in water and then wash your feet with the water. If there are only cracks between the toes, you can rub the fresh willow leaves into small pellets and insert them between your toes at night (you can wear socks). It will be effective the next day.

Remember to wash your feet frequently and change shoes regularly. After washing your feet, use a towel to dry the water between your toes to prevent athlete's foot. Keep your shoes dry and clean. Do not wear the same pair of shoes every day. The shoes that have been taken off should be exposed to the sun to prevent fungal growth.
