Tofu is rich in protein and the protein in tofu is a complete protein, containing all eight essential amino acids needed by the human body. The proportion of these amino acids is also close to what the body needs, making tofu highly nutritious. Silken tofu is a good recipe for pregnancy.
Ingredients: 700g tofu
Additional ingredients: 150g eggs
Seasonings: 25g wheat flour, 70g lard, 7g salt, 2g MSG, 1g pepper, 15g spring onions, 15g sesame oil
Preparation:
1. Remove the coarse skin from the tofu and cut it into rectangular pieces that are 5cm long, 3cm wide, and 1cm thick. Place the tofu on a plate, sprinkle with salt, tilt the plate to drain the water, and then sprinkle dry flour on both sides of the tofu.
2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and pour them over the tofu. Cut the spring onions into sections.
3. Heat the lard until it boils. Dip each piece of tofu coated with egg mixture into the hot oil and fry until both sides turn yellow. Add 100ml of chicken soup, salt, MSG, pepper, and simmer until the flavors are absorbed. Add the spring onion sections and sesame oil, stir-fry until the sauce thickens, and then transfer to a plate.
Taste: The tofu is tender and fragrant, and the taste is delicious.
