There is no inflammation in the genitals, so do not clean inside the vagina.
Women's genitals do not need cleaning if there is no inflammation.
"The vagina does not need self-cleaning, not even with water."
Many women either do not care about genital hygiene at all or become overly concerned due to previous inflammation, and they buy special containers for cleaning the vagina and flush it with cleansing solution, which actually leads to vaginal diseases.
This is because the pH value of the vaginal mucosa is between 3.8 and 4.2. In this acidic environment, beneficial bacteria can grow and inhibit harmful bacteria such as Candida and Trichomonas.
A low pH value (becoming acidic) can easily lead to the proliferation of Candida, causing Candida vaginitis. A high pH value (becoming alkaline) can easily lead to the proliferation of Trichomonas, causing Trichomonas vaginitis.
Gynecological cleansers can disrupt the natural acidity of the vagina. Although some cleansers have a certain level of acidity, they are still relatively alkaline compared to the vaginal environment. Additionally, tap water is not completely sterile and has a certain pH value.
Therefore, if there is no inflammation in the genitals, do not clean inside the vagina. Even if there is itching, increased discharge, or an unusual odor, do not use cleansers without consulting a doctor. Instead, it is recommended to visit a hospital for examination.
