Delicious and Nutritious Chinese Recipes: From Cordyceps Chicken to Drunken Shrimp

(1) Stewed Chicken with Cordyceps: Use 4-5 pieces of Cordyceps and around 300 grams of chicken. Stew them together and cook until the chicken is tender. Serve with the soup.

(2) Five-Spice Lamb: Remove the fat from the lamb and steam or boil it until cooked. Slice the lamb and mix it with garlic, ginger, fermented soybean paste, scallions, fennel, and five-spice soy sauce.

(3) Sparrow Porridge: Take 3-5 sparrows, remove the feathers and internal organs, chop them and stir-fry until cooked. Cook the sparrows with rice to make porridge, and add scallions, salt, and seasoning. Consume on an empty stomach.

(4) Fresh Shrimp and Tofu Stew: Use 15 grams of fresh shrimp and 3 pieces of tofu. Add white parts of scallions, ginger, and salt. Stew until cooked and consume.

(5) Shrimp and Chives Stir-Fry: Soak 50 grams of shrimp in water until tender. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the shrimp with 250 grams of chopped chives. Add salt and other seasonings to taste.

(6) Cistanche and Sheep Kidney Soup: Remove the membrane from 1 sheep kidney and slice it. Add sliced Cistanche and 15 grams of goji berries. Cook them together to make a soup. Add scallions, salt, and ginger for seasoning. Eat the sheep kidney and drink the soup.

(7) Goji Berry Stewed Squab: Use 30 grams of goji berries and 1 squab (without feathers and internal organs). Put them in a stewing pot with an appropriate amount of water, and stew until cooked. Consume the meat and drink the soup.

(8) Black Bean Stewed Dog Meat: Use 250 grams of dog meat and 50 grams of black beans. Add star anise, fennel, cinnamon, dried tangerine peel, fructus amomi, ginger, salt, and MSG. Stew them together. Eat the dog meat and drink the soup.

(9) Cordyceps and Placenta: Use 10-15 grams of Cordyceps and 1 placenta. Stew them together until cooked. Consume.

(10) Rice Wine Steamed Chicken: Take 1 young chicken, remove the internal organs, and cut it into pieces. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the chicken with a small amount of salt. Transfer to a large bowl and add 500 ml of glutinous rice wine. Steam until cooked.

(11) Fuling Stewed Pork Kidney: Take 6 grams of Fuling and 2 pork kidneys. Wash and remove the membranes from the kidneys, then cut them into small pieces. Stew them together and season with salt and MSG. Drink the soup and eat the pork kidneys. Use once a day for 10 consecutive days as a course of treatment.

(12) Goji Berry and Young Chicken: Use 30 grams of goji berries and 1 young chicken weighing less than 500 grams. Remove the feathers and internal organs, then wash it. Add 50-100 ml of white wine above 50 degrees Celsius and salt. Stew until cooked. Eat the meat and drink the soup.

(13) Drunken Shrimp: Take a pair of live prawns, wash them with clean water, and immerse them in white wine until they are intoxicated. Remove them from the wine and dip them in a sauce made of garlic, soy sauce, pepper, vinegar, MSG, and sesame oil.

(14) Cistanche and Lamb Porridge: Take 20 grams of Cistanche and slice it thinly. Clean and chop 150-250 grams of lean lamb. Wash 100 grams of rice. Cook them together to make porridge. This recipe is suitable for women with low libido. Regular consumption will yield better results.
