Ear Massage Technique
Thick and full earlobes indicate strong kidney qi, while thin and weak earlobes indicate weak kidneys.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the ear is an external manifestation of the kidneys. "Strong ears indicate strong kidneys, while weak and thin ears indicate weak kidneys." The earlobe is relatively long.
The fullness of the earlobe indicates the abundance of kidney qi. The ear is not an isolated organ, but is closely connected to the meridians and internal organs of the body.
According to Western medicine, Dr. Walter Hartbacher, a senior surgical professor at the Wiesbaden Hospital in Germany, wrote in his book that there are many secrets hidden in the ears. Through the ears, one can determine a person's character, talents, and even their health condition.
Diagnosing Internal Organ Diseases through Ear Stimulation
There are specific stimulation points on the ear for each organ and tissue in the body. When an organ or tissue is diseased, there will be changes and reactions in the corresponding area of the ear, which Chinese medicine refers to as "acupoints". By stimulating these acupoints, one can diagnose and treat diseases in the corresponding parts of the body.
Experienced medical experts can also diagnose diseases by observing changes in the color of the skin on the ear, the presence of indentations, nodules or scaling, and the fullness of the capillaries. Therefore, regularly massaging the ears can strengthen the kidneys, enhance hearing, clear the mind, and promote longevity. There are several specific methods for ear massage:
1. Pulling the Earlobe
Place your hands inside the earlobe and use your index and thumb to pull the earlobe from the inside to the outside. Start with gentle pressure and gradually increase the intensity, but avoid causing pain. Do this for 3-5 minutes each time. This method can treat headaches, dizziness, neurasthenia, tinnitus, and other conditions.
2. Sweeping the Outer Ear
Use both hands to sweep the ears from the back to the front, creating a "scratching" sound. Do this 20 times, several times a day. With consistent practice, it can strengthen the kidneys and promote physical fitness.
3. Pulling Both Ears
Straighten both index fingers and insert them into the ear canals, then rotate them 180 degrees. Repeat this three times and then immediately pull them out, causing a "popping" sound in the ears. Generally, repeat this 3-6 times. This method can improve hearing sensitivity and enhance brain function.
