Massage therapy for uterine prolapse

Uterine prolapse refers to the descent of the uterus from its normal position along the vaginal canal to the level of the ischial spine, even beyond the vaginal opening.

According to the treatment principle of "supplementing deficiency and lifting sagging," massage is used to replenish qi and lift and regulate the spleen and kidneys to achieve the purpose of treatment.

(1) Sitting position

Use the one-finger Zen technique to massage the Baihui acupoint in a clockwise and counterclockwise direction 50 times each.

(2) Supine position

Use the thumb to knead and lift the Tiantuo acupoint and the uterus acupoint for 2 minutes each;

Then use the palm rubbing method to massage the lower abdomen clockwise and counterclockwise 50 times each;

After heating the palms, press them tightly against the pubic bone, and then use the base of the palm to push upwards along the midline of the pubic bone, with even and gentle force.

(3) Prone position

Use the fingertip of the thumb to press the Yongquan acupoint on both feet, and the patient cooperates with deep breathing and tighten the anus and abdomen;

Then press the Sanyinjiao, Zusanli, and Yinlingquan acupoints on both lower limbs for 1 minute each.

(4) Prone position

Bend your knees, lift your buttocks up and down, repeat 10-20 times, and then maintain the lifted buttock posture for 5-10 minutes.
