12 Essential Exercises for a Healthy Body

1. Knee Exercise

Use the palm of your hand to massage the knee joint on the same side.

2. Eye Exercise

Slightly bend your thumbs and gently rub the eyelids near the thumb joints 12 times each. Then, gently rub the brow bone 12 times. Rotate both eyes left and right 12 times.

3. Nose Exercise

Lightly rub the sides of the nose with the back of both thumbs, starting from the top and moving down 12 times.

4. Teeth Exercise

Tap the upper and lower teeth 24 times, making a gentle sound.

5. Tongue Exercise

Also known as "stirring the sea." Rotate your tongue left and right in your mouth 12 times each. Swallow the saliva produced in small amounts, focusing your thoughts on the lower abdomen.

6. Head Exercise

Press the Baihui acupoint on the top of the head with overlapping palms 12 times. Use the index fingers to rub the temples 12 times. Massage the forehead with the palms 12 times, then move from the side of the nose to the lower forehead, and then reverse back up to the forehead 12 times.

7. Ear Exercise

Massage the ear lobes with both hands 12 times. Use the fleshy part of the hand to cover the ear canal, and place the fingers on the back of the head. Slide the index finger on the middle finger to tap the back of the head, making a popping sound. Repeat 12 times, also known as "beating the heavenly drum."

8. Neck Exercise

Cross your hands and press the front of the back of the neck 12 times. Use the middle finger to press and rub the Fengchi acupoint 12 times.

9. Shoulder Exercise

Press the right shoulder with the left palm and the left shoulder with the right palm. Rotate and massage around the shoulder joint 12 times.

10. Spine Exercise

Make fists with both hands, bend the upper limbs, and alternately swing the elbow joints forward and backward 12 times. Rub the palms together to generate heat, and then rub and pat the waist 12 times.

11. Abdominal Exercise

Rub the palms together to generate heat. Use the left palm to make circular motions around the navel clockwise, from upper abdomen to lower abdomen 12 times. Then, use the right palm to make circular motions counterclockwise 12 times.
