Waist Exercise
Step 1: Rub your hands together to warm them up, then press firmly on the acupoint of the Kidney Shu. After a moment, forcefully strike down to the coccyx. Repeat this rubbing motion 50 to 100 times, which can help regulate qi and blood, promote circulation, and nourish the kidneys and essence.
Step 2: Place your hands on your waist, and use your thumbs to firmly press and rotate on the waist point. This motion should create a slight soreness. It can help warm the meridians, dispel cold, and harmonize the organs.
Step 3: Press the palm of your right hand on the Gate of Vitality acupoint, and perform upward and downward movements 20 to 30 times. This can help replenish the kidneys, strengthen the body, and promote longevity.
5. Xizhou Exercise
(1) Health benefits: It has the effects of nourishing yin, reducing fire, and strengthening the waist and kidneys.
(2) How to do it: Contract the anus. Tighten the anus when inhaling, and relax it when exhaling. One contraction and relaxation equals one repetition. Repeat this sequence 50 times in a row.
