Eye Acupressure: Relieve Fatigue and Improve Vision

Eye acupressure and health care have the functions of relieving eye fatigue and improving vision. It can prevent and treat eye diseases such as myopia, senile cataracts, and glaucoma. Method: ①Massage the Yintang acupoint. Use two fingers to press the depression point between the eyebrows for 1 minute (Figure 1). ②Massage the Yuyao acupoint. Use two fingers to massage the midpoint between the eyebrows for 1 minute. ③Massage the Sizhukong acupoint. Use two hands to massage the depression point at the end of the eyebrows for 1 minute. ④Massage the temples. Use two fingers to massage the temples on both sides (about 1 inch behind the end of the eyebrows and the outer corner of the eye) for 1 minute (Figure 2). ⑤Massage the Chengqi acupoint. Use two fingers to massage the Chengqi acupoint directly below the pupil, straight down from the line of sight, for 1 minute. ⑥Massage the Siba acupoint. Use two fingers to massage the Siba acupoint 1 inch directly below the pupil and in the depression of the lower eye socket for 1 minute (Figure 3). ⑦Massage the Yangbai acupoint. Use two fingers to massage the Yangbai acupoint 1 inch above the pupil and on the eyebrows for 1 minute. ⑧Palm the eyes. Rub the palms together to generate heat, lightly press on both eyes for 30 seconds, and then gently massage more than 10 times. ⑨Press the Jingming acupoint. Use the middle finger or index finger to press the Jingming acupoint 0.1 inch inside the inner canthus for 1 minute, and gently massage it. ⑩Scrape the eye socket. Bend the index fingers and use the edge of the middle phalanx to scrape the upper and lower eye sockets from the inside to the outside for a total of 1 minute (Figure 5).
