Pulmonary massage therapy has the function of strengthening the body, resisting evil, promoting lung function, preventing respiratory diseases such as colds, and adjusting the overall physical condition. The methods are as follows: ① Massage Zhongfu. Use the thumbs of both hands to massage the sides of the chest, 6 inches from the midline, in the middle of the first rib gap, for 1-2 minutes. ② Rub Tanzhong. Use three fingers to rub the midpoint of the line connecting the two breasts, Tanzhong point in the fourth intercostal space, for 1-2 minutes. ③ Press the chest. Stack the palms together and press the sternum several times with the breath. ④ Push the chest and ribs. Use both thumbs to push down along the ribs on both sides, about 10 times. ⑤ Rub the back. First, use the thumbs of both hands to rub along the bladder meridian on the back, focusing on the Lung Yu point on both sides of the spine; then use the palms to rub the back from the middle to both sides for about 10 times. ⑥ Knead and rub the upper limbs. Along the Lung meridian on the inner side of the upper limbs, knead and rub in sequence from top to bottom for 1-3 minutes. ⑦ Lift the upper limbs. Press the fish junction point (the midpoint on the radial side of the first metacarpal) with both hands, pull and lift the upper limbs several times. ⑧ Massage Quechi and Waiguan. Use the thumb to massage Quechi point (bend the elbow, at the outer end of the elbow transverse line), and Waiguan point (2 inches above the back of the wrist transverse line, between the radial and ulnar bones) for 1 minute each. ⑨ Tap the chest and back. Lightly tap the chest and back with the hollow of the palm for about 10 times.
