In both work and life, drinking tea for health has become a habit for many people. For example, drinking floral tea in spring and black tea in summer. But do you know what tea to drink when you're feeling depressed or having trouble sleeping? If you don't know, let's find out together with me.

[What tea to drink for forgetfulness and memory decline?]

[A cup of rosemary brings back memory]

Nowadays, memory decline is not only limited to the elderly. It is common to see many young people experiencing forgetfulness and memory decline. Memory decline in young people is a precursor symptom of neurasthenia, often accompanied by symptoms such as mental fatigue, slow thinking, and difficulty concentrating. The underlying cause may be excessive mental excitement, fatigue, mental tension, or excessive stress. In fact, the fundamental cause of these symptoms is insufficient kidney qi. When the kidneys are deficient, the essence and qi are insufficient, making the person look listless.

Since memory decline is caused by kidney deficiency, if you want to improve your brain and memory, you should start by nourishing your kidneys. If you have been working or studying late into the night and experience forgetfulness, a cup of rosemary tea would be a good choice. Take 3 grams of rosemary, put it in a teapot, slowly pour in hot water, let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes, add honey or sugar, and let it sit for about 3 minutes before drinking. When drinking, you can remove the rosemary to avoid steeping it for too long and making the tea taste bitter, while still preserving its aroma, so that it remains fragrant when refilled next time. The strong aroma of rosemary will rise with the steam of the hot water, a light inhale, and it will make you feel refreshed and invigorated.

Special reminder: People usually have the best memory in the early morning and before bedtime. If you don't want to drink tea during these times, you can try dropping a few drops of rosemary essential oil into a diffuser in front of your bed before sleeping. This will not only give you sweet dreams but also improve your memory. It's really a win-win situation. If you don't have the conditions, you can also add 5 to 10 drops of rosemary essential oil to the bathwater during a bath, and the effect will be the same.
