Don't let fine lines take over your face! Don't think that wrinkles only appear as you age. In fact, facial wrinkles can be caused by dehydration of the skin or facial muscle movements, in addition to aging and gravity-induced muscle sagging. Among them, expression lines caused by facial movements are the easiest to overlook. As the name suggests, expression lines are small fine lines that are caused by various facial expressions. If not taken care of, these expression lines can easily form wrinkles that make you look older and more pronounced!
Generally speaking, facial expression lines can be roughly divided into forehead lines caused by raising eyebrows or frowning, crow's feet caused by smiling, marionette lines caused by laughing or pursing lips, and lip lines caused by pouting, smoking, or using straws, etc. To eliminate these fine lines, in addition to daily basic skincare, facial massage exercises should also be added. Through these massages, blood circulation can be stimulated and fine lines can be gradually smoothed out. It only takes 3 minutes a day to make your skin elastic and smooth!
1. Relax forehead lines and frown lines
Use the pads of your thumbs and index fingers to repeatedly pinch along the eyebrows, using a deep pinching motion with a 90-degree angle of contact between the fingertips and the forehead lines. Then, use the ring finger to apply eye cream and gently massage in circular motions from the corner of the eye outwards. When finishing the massage, quickly pat the area under the eyes with your fingertips to promote blood circulation and help the eye cream absorb.
2. Smooth crow's feet and the sides of the face
Use the pads of your thumbs and index fingers to gently pinch along the crow's feet, with a 90-degree angle of contact. On the sides of the cheeks, use a deep pinching motion to stimulate blood circulation in the skin.
3. Lift marionette lines and tighten the jawline and neck
Apply an appropriate amount of skincare product and use the pads of your thumbs and index fingers to gently pinch along the marionette lines. Then, curl your fingers and use circular motions to lift the chin upwards along the curvature of the jawline until reaching the area near the ears. Next, without lifting your hands off the skin, gently stroke downwards in sequence until reaching the neck.
