Deep Breathing Jogging: A Method to Reduce Abdominal Fat and Improve Health

Obesity always starts from the abdomen. Deep Breathing Jogging

How to Breathe Deeply

Relax your whole body, close your mouth, and touch your tongue to the roof of your mouth. Breathe entirely through your nose. When jogging, breathe out for three steps and breathe in for three steps. While inhaling, tighten your anus and pull your abdomen in. While exhaling, relax your anus and abdomen.

When jogging, gradually increase the number of steps for each breath, such as breathing out for six steps and breathing in for six steps, or even more steps per breath.

Focus, Breath, and Strength

During the process of deep breathing jogging, when inhaling and pulling in your abdomen, focus your energy on the Changqiang acupoint at the coccyx, up the Governing Vessel along the spine, and when passing the Mingmen acupoint, try to contract your abdomen as much as possible. Imagine that the organs and muscles in your abdomen are exerting force and moving towards your back. Energy ascends the Governing Vessel, passing the Mingmen acupoint at the lumbar vertebrae, and reaching the Dazhui acupoint at the cervical vertebrae, and finally, it goes up to the Baihui acupoint at the top of the head. When exhaling, imagine the energy flowing from the Baihui acupoint to the Yintang acupoint between the eyebrows, and down to the Renzhong, Tiantu, Shenque, and Guanyuan acupoints in the front chest and abdomen.

Using the mind to deeply breathe while jogging combines internal and external movements of the whole body. The exercise intensity is not high, but the body warms up quickly and perspiration is more abundant. It is an effective method for obese individuals to reduce abdominal fat and maintain health, overcoming obesity-related diseases.
