Water is the source of life, and 70% of the earth is covered by water. Water is a major contributor to the metabolic function of the human body, each person's body has about 40 liters of water, and our daily water loss varies with individual activity and environment. Usually, our body urinates about 1,500 ml a day, plus sweat, direct evaporation of water from the skin and feces, etc. The total daily water loss is about 2,000-3,000 ml, so when we are in the process of training, we should use water as a lubricant. Here are five things to remember when drinking water, please read carefully and keep in mind.

Do you drink enough water?

When you then count the amount of water a day, do not count the coffee and drinks you drink, they are very diuretic but in fact they just deprive the body of a lot of nutrients, when each loss of nutrients will only cause edema in the body. General knowledge says that 6 to 8 glasses of water a day will be enough, but if we have people like us doing training, water needs far more than 8 glasses, a day of water intake should be at least equal to half of your body weight, of course, you need to do according to the training or your current physical condition to make adjustments, but one thing is never wrong, is to feel thirsty when you must drink water.

Water helps the body to remove toxins

Water can help us eliminate toxins and take away excess waste from the body's metabolism. For those on a high-protein diet, water is especially important! Water helps to remove excess nitrogen, urea (toxic substances) and ketones (products of protein synthesis). So the average heavy trainer, need more water to help your kidneys to remove toxins of.

Water helps the body metabolize fat

Without enough water, the kidneys will not be able to work properly. When these situations occur, some of the workload of filtration will be transferred to the liver, but the liver's own function is to metabolize stored fat into body energy, so when the liver's workload increases, his own work (metabolize fat) will be reduced. Some studies show that consuming 2 liters of water a day can help increase calorie burning. Drinking water also suppresses appetite and helps the body metabolize stored fat. Water helps maintain proper muscle tone, making the skin clean, healthy and elastic.

Drinking water can reduce excess water in the body

Contrary to popular belief, drinking water can actually help the body get rid of excess water weight (also known as edema). When water is in short supply, the body's cells will try to store as much water as possible in the cells, but such storage will only lead to bloating. And when water retention is in the body, it's a different kind of chronic problem. It may be because you eat too much salt-laden food. Read the labels on your food every time and try to limit your salt content to 2-4 grams a day. The more sodium you consume, the more difficult it is for your body to keep the water in your body.

Make drinking water your habit

If you drink too little water, your body will demand water from all organs, including the intestines, so when a lack of water occurs, it can lead to constipation and hinder digestion. Make drinking water a daily habit and gradually you will notice a wonderful change in your body.
