You can kick the shuttlecock in different positions and patterns, but you can only kick it up with one foot from the front of your body? Here are a few simple ways to play the shuttlecock.

Plate kick

The shuttlecock is kicked by rotating the inside of the left and right foot. When kicking the shuttlecock with the inside of the foot, the knee is opened outward and the thigh is turned outward with a slight upward swing, not too much. Relax your hips and knees, swing your calves upward, and kick the shuttlecock with your ankles. The kicked up shuttlecock usually does not exceed the chin. During this process, the body must remain stable upper body must not sway.

Kicking

Knee kicking is a method of kicking the shuttlecock up by turns with the knees of both legs. When kicking, the hip and knee joints should be relaxed, and the thin leg should hang down naturally, then the knee joint should be forced. The shuttlecock will be knocked up. Be careful not to open your thighs outward or snap them inward, and do not kick the shuttlecock up above your jaw.

Abduction kick

Abduction kick is to kick the shuttlecock with the outside of the two feet interchangeably. In the process of kicking the shuttlecock, the thighs are relaxed, the lower legs swing diagonally upwards behind the body, hook the tips of the feet, and the shuttlecock touches the outside of the feet at a moment when the inner side of the kicking foot is generally no more than 30 cm from the ground, and the height of the kicked shuttlecock is random. Be careful not to swing your thighs to the front of your body when kicking the shuttlecock, and don't swing your calves too high.

Cross kick

The cross kick is based on the abduction kick, and is the same posture technique as the abduction kick, but the left foot receives the shuttlecock on the right foot and the right foot receives the shuttlecock on the left foot. You can stand straight, shift your weight to the right, raise your left foot, kick to the right rear and catch the shuttlecock with the palm of your foot.

Tension kick

Lift your thighs forward and make an angle of 150-160 degrees with your upper body, not too high. The upper body leans forward slightly, the lower leg swings forward, the hip and knee joints are relaxed, and at the moment of kicking the shuttlecock, the outer three toes of the toes are pushed upward to hook the shuttlecock up. The force of the taut kick can be high or low, and can save the shuttlecock that is about to fall to the ground.

Precautions for playing shuttlecock

Preparation before playing shuttlecock

Wear cloth shoes or sneakers (high waist is best) and tight legged sports pants so that your pants do not affect the shuttlecock. Choose a flat place and remove small stones from the ground to avoid breaking your feet.

When playing shuttlecock, you have to play according to your strength

When playing shuttlecock, do not overexert yourself or force yourself to complete movements that you simply cannot do. For example, don't chase a shuttlecock that is about to fall to the ground if you don't have the speed. It is also important to play the shuttlecock gradually and according to your ability, starting with the easiest moves and slowly increasing the difficulty.

Don't play shuttlecock immediately after eating

Do not play shuttlecock immediately after a meal or a full meal, otherwise it will hurt the stomach and intestines and cause disease.
