Handstand on a blanket or a soft cloth mat

When you first start doing handstands, your arm strength and balance may not be as strong, so it's easy to fall down, plus the first time you do it, you will now get dizzy or have a headache. So it is best to do it on a blanket or a soft cloth mat.

You can learn some physical skills first

Do not invert after meals

Cardiovascular patients are not suitable for inversion

Patients with cardiovascular disease, heart disease hypertension, eye disease (such as retinal detachment), ear disease, etc. are not suitable for inversion. Pregnant women and people with pain or other discomfort in the neck, spine and other body parts should not do inversions.

Inversion time should not be too long

At the beginning of the inversion, because it is not adapted, you can start from a few seconds or a dozen seconds, and slowly increase. But do not exceed one hour. The inversion time is generally 15 minutes, in between you can also rest 1-2 times. Do not invert for a long time at a time, it is easy to cause congestion in the brain.

Do some finishing activities after the inversion

After the inversion, do not rest immediately, you can do some stretching movements, such as wrist activities, flinging arms, turning head and neck, etc.. Relax the muscles that are tense when you are upside down.
