Relieve Seasonal Cough with Magnolia Fruit Remedies

Ingredients: magnolia fruit, lotus root powder, mint, sugar, etc.

Method: Wrap magnolia seeds in a gauze bag and soak it in a bowl filled with cold water. Squeeze the gauze bag, and a sticky liquid will come out. Then add some lotus root powder or gypsum powder to the water to help coagulate. Put it in the refrigerator for three to four hours, and the liquid will turn into a jelly-like substance. Magnolia Fruit Stewed Pig's Trotters

Ingredients: 4 magnolia fruits, 1 pig's trotter.

Method: Wash the pig's trotters and blanch them in boiling water for a while, then remove and clean them. Wash the magnolia fruits. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, bring the pig's trotters to a boil, and then simmer over low heat until cooked. Add cooking wine, salt, spring onion, and ginger to season. Add the magnolia fruits and cook until the pig's trotters are tender. Finally, add monosodium glutamate and serve.

Magnolia fruits can be directly soaked in water, but the temperature must be high. If you have a cough, take about 40-50g of magnolia fruit and directly soak it in tea. But if you have a severe cough, you can boil it and drink it directly.
