Dangshen and Safflower Stewed Black-bone Chicken to Tonify Kidney
【Ingredients】
800g black-bone chicken, 10g dangshen, 6g safflower, 15g fritillaria cirrhosa, 3g monosodium glutamate, 5g ginger, 6g scallion, 5g salt, 2g pepper, 10g cooking wine
【Method】
1. Slaughter and remove the feathers, internal organs, and claws of the black-bone chicken;
2. Soak the dangshen until moist and slice it thinly;
3. Remove impurities from the fritillaria cirrhosa and cut it into large pieces;
4. Remove impurities from the safflower and wash it; lightly crush the ginger and cut the scallion into sections;
5. Place the black-bone chicken, fritillaria cirrhosa, safflower, dangshen, ginger, scallion, and cooking wine in a stew pot, and add 2800ml of water;
6. Place the stew pot on high heat until it boils, then simmer on low heat for 35 minutes;
7. Add salt, monosodium glutamate, and pepper, and stir well.
