[Composition] 1 part of Rehmanniae Radix, 1 part of Asari Radix et Rhizoma, 3 parts of Prepared Rehmanniae Radix, 3 parts of Coptidis Rhizoma, 5 parts of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 6 parts of Gypsum Fibrosum, 7 parts of Bupleuri Radix, 1 qian of Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex, 1 qian of Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, 1 qian of Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 1 qian of Persicae Semen (fried, with the tips of the skin removed), 1 qian of Platycodi Radix, 1 qian of Saposhnikoviae Radix, 1 qian and 5 fen of Cimicifugae Rhizoma, a small amount of Carthami Flos, 6 almonds, and 2 small peppers.
[Preparation] Grind into a coarse powder, about the size of a mung bean.

[Dosage and Administration] All the ingredients should be taken once, with 2 bowls of water, decocted until 1 bowl remains, and taken warm after meals.
[Introduction to Medicinal Materials]
Asari Radix et Rhizoma: Expels exterior pathogenic factors, dispels wind and relieves pain, opens the orifices, and warms the lungs and transforms phlegm. It is a fever-reducing, diuretic, analgesic, and sedative medicine. It is used to treat headache, induce sweating, and expel phlegm.
Coptidis Rhizoma: It is used to treat heat, eye pain, tearing, and improve vision. It is used for intestinal dysentery, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and pain in the female genitalia. It is also used for hot and cold imbalances in the five zang organs, long-term purulent blood diarrhea, excessive thirst, excessive fear, water retention in the bones, gastric and colorectal disorders, bile enhancement, and oral ulcers.
Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma: Tonifies the spleen and augments qi, clears heat and detoxifies, expels phlegm and relieves cough, relieves urgency and pain, and harmonizes with other medicines. It is used for weak spleen and stomach, fatigue and weakness, palpitations and shortness of breath, cough with excessive phlegm, severe abdominal and limb spasms and pain, abscesses and toxins, and reducing the toxicity and intensity of drugs.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix: Tonifies blood, promotes blood circulation, regulates menstruation and relieves pain, moisturizes dryness and lubricates the intestines. It is used for blood deficiency, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, abdominal masses and accumulations, excessive menstrual flow or spotting, cold abdominal pain, impotence, numbness of the skin and muscles, dryness and difficulty in bowel movements, recurrent dysentery, abscesses and sores, and injuries from falls and blows.
Saposhnikoviae Radix: It is used for cold and windy colds, fever and chills, headaches, body aches, as well as cold and hot colds, fever and chills, red eyes, and sore throat. Saposhnikoviae Radix is known for its ability to expel wind-cold, as well as wind-heat. It has a similar effect to Platycodi Radix, so the two herbs are often used together.
