  Pharmacological effects of Yarrow

  1. Hemostatic effect

Hemostasis is a prominent effect of Yarrow, which has also been confirmed by pharmacological research. Studies have shown that the tannins in Yarrow can shorten the clotting time and thus have a hemostatic effect.

  2. Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial

Research has shown that Yarrow has an improving effect on swelling caused by inflammation and also has inhibitory effects on various bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Shigella, and Proteus.

  3. Antiemetic effect

Pharmacological research has also shown that Yarrow has an antiemetic effect and can inhibit vomiting caused by digitalis.
