【Prescription Name】

Yellow Qi Paste

【Ingredients】

20g Astragalus, 20g Fresh Reed Rhizome, 10g Gypsum, 6g Licorice, 10g Yam Powder, 30g Honey

【Method】

Boil the first four ingredients with water for 30 minutes, strain and collect 2 cups of the liquid. Add the Yam Powder and keep stirring continuously to prevent burning. Cook until it turns into a paste, then add honey and bring to a boil.

Yellow Qi Paste is a nourishing and tonifying recipe. Take it three times a day. It helps clear heat, moisturize the lungs, tonify Qi, and nourish Yin.

【Food Incompatibilities】

Astragalus: Incompatible with white fresh skin, but avoid Lactuca indica, avoid Wulingzhi and Fangfeng.

Yam (dried): Incompatible with Gansui and Dajin, do not take with alkaline drugs.
