Ginseng and Turtle Soup

Ingredients (2 servings, 1 serving)

Ginseng...............15 grams

Corn silk.............30 grams

Turtle...............1 (200 grams)

Ginger.................10 grams

Green onion.................10 grams

Salt.................3 grams

Chicken broth................600 milliliters

Benefits

Nourishes qi and blood, dispels rheumatism. Suitable for conditions such as hypertension, dampness obstruction of qi and skin.

Preparation

1. Wash and slice the ginseng; wash the corn silk and tie it with a cloth; slaughter the turtle, remove the head, tail, and internal organs; slice the ginger, cut the green onion into sections.

2. Put the ginseng, corn silk, turtle, ginger, green onion, and salt into a stew pot, and add the chicken broth.

3. Bring the stew pot to a boil over high heat, then simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

Serving

Serve warm. Consume twice a week and continue for 3 months.

Contraindications

Not suitable for individuals with excessive pathogenic factors, stagnation of qi, or excessive anger.
