Medicinal uses of big wupao

Big wupao has great medicinal effects and can be used to treat diseases. The rhizome of the wupao can be excavated and used as medicine to treat colds, fever, coughing up blood, nosebleeds, irregular menstruation, and other diseases;

It also has a good therapeutic effect on treating external injuries, bleeding, dysentery, diarrhea, prolapse, and rheumatism.

Treatment for coughing up blood: Take 2 liang of fresh big wupao, 1 liang of fresh bitter thistle head, and 5 qian of kohlrabi stem core. Boil in water to make a concentrated juice, take it four times a day, one teacup each time.

Treatment for diarrhea: Take 3 liang of fresh big wupao root bark, 2 liang of fresh dragon sprout root, and 1 liang of fresh white goldenrod root. Boil in water and take it three to four times a day, two small wine cups each time.

Other uses of big wupao

In rural areas, the leaves of the big wupao are often collected and used to feed rabbits, cattle, and sheep, effectively treating diarrhea in these animals.
