Clinical manifestations of rickets with kidney qi deficiency:

Physical weakness, dull complexion, delayed development of teething, sitting, standing, and walking. Obvious skeletal deformities, such as enlarged head, pigeon chest, hunchback, frog-like abdomen, and curved lower limbs. Pale tongue, less coating, slow and weak pulse, and pale fingerprints.


【Turtle Shell, Chicken Bone, and Walnut Soup】

Ingredients: 30g turtle shell, 2 pairs of chicken bones, 10g walnuts, appropriate amount of salt and monosodium glutamate.

Method: Smash the turtle shell and chicken bones, add enough water, simmer for about 2 hours, then add walnuts and salt, continue to simmer until the walnuts are cooked and tender. Season with monosodium glutamate.

Efficacy: Tonify kidney qi, nourish kidney essence.

Usage: Take once daily, eat regularly.

【Dragon Bone and Cornus Officinalis Porridge】

Ingredients: 30g dragon bone, 30g oyster shell, 10g cornus officinalis, 100g glutinous rice.

Method: Smash the dragon bone and oyster shell, boil for about 1 hour, then add cornus officinalis and simmer for half an hour. Filter out the medicinal juice with gauze, then repeat the process twice. Combine the three batches of medicinal juice, add glutinous rice and an appropriate amount of water to cook the porridge.

Efficacy: Tonify kidney and strengthen bones.

Usage: Eat the porridge in the morning and evening.
