Nourishing Your Kidneys Through Food Therapy: Recipes for Stronger Bones

  Recipe 1: Chestnut Porridge

Ingredients: 100g chestnuts, 250g rice, 100g lean meat, appropriate amount of cooking oil, salt, white sugar, soy sauce

Preparation: 1) Prepare all the ingredients. 2) Peel the chestnuts and remove the middle skin and impurities.

3) Cut into small pieces. 4) Clean the lean meat and chop it into mince.

5) Add soy sauce, sugar, salt, and cooking oil to the minced meat and mix well. Marinate for 10 minutes.

6) Rinse the rice and add an appropriate amount of water.

7) Add the chopped chestnuts and stir. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

8) Add a small amount of water to the minced meat to dilute it. 9) Pour it into the chestnut porridge and bring to a boil over high heat.

10) The minced meat has been seasoned with a small amount of salt during marination. It is already flavorful, but if you prefer a stronger taste, you can adjust the salt according to your own preference.
 


 

  Recipe 2: Chinese Yam and Radish Porridge

Ingredients: 150g Chinese yam, 100g radish, 90g millet, water

Preparation: 1) Peel and clean the Chinese yam, wash the radish. 2) Prepare the millet.

3) Cut the radish into dice. 4) Boil water in a pot and add the radish.

5) After 5 minutes, rinse the millet and add it to the pot.

6) After 5 minutes, cut the Chinese yam into dice and add it to the pot.

7) Cook until the ingredients are cooked, turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
 


 

  Recipe 3: Black Bean and Pork Trotter Soup

Ingredients: 200g pork trotters, 80g black beans, salt, half a carrot, 5g soy sauce, 2 slices of ginger, 2 slices of green onion

Preparation: 1) Prepare all the ingredients.

2) Wash the black beans in advance and soak them in water for more than 10 hours.

3) Clean the pork trotters, remove the hair, and cut them into small pieces. Boil water in a pot, add the pork trotters and blanch them. After boiling, remove and clean them.

4) Put the soaked black beans and the water they were soaked in into a clay pot.

5) Add the cooked pork trotters. 6) Add an appropriate amount of soy sauce and salt. 7) Add the ginger and green onion slices.

8) Add enough water to cover the pork trotters. Cover the pot and bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat. The cooking time depends on the amount of ingredients. For this amount, simmer for 2 and a half hours until the beans and pork trotters are tender.
