Medicinal Recipe 3: Lotus Leaf Stewed Lotus Seed

Ingredients: 4 fresh lotus leaf stems, 60g lotus seeds, appropriate amount of white sugar.

Instructions: Wash the lotus leaf stems, make two cuts halfway through. Wash the lotus seeds, soak them in hot water for 1 hour, and remove the skin and core. Put both into a small stainless steel pot, add 2 bowls of cold water, simmer over low heat for 2 hours, add one tablespoon of white sugar, simmer for a while, then remove from heat. Eat as a snack.
