【Morphology of Wuxiangteng】
Evergreen climbing shrub. The main root is thick and cylindrical. The leaves are alternate, leathery, ovate-lanceolate to oblong-elliptic, 5-15 centimeters long, gradually pointed at the tip, bluntly rounded at the base, nearly entire or finely serrated.
The flowers are unisexual, axillary, 1-2 in number, with narrow triangular bracts, approximately 1 millimeter in length and width; the outermost 3-5 petals are small, triangular to nearly kidney-shaped, with marginal hairs, and the inner 5 petals are purple-red, elliptic to ovate.
The fruit is a bright red berry when mature. The flowering period is in summer.

①Treatment for snake bites, rabies, and sores: Take an appropriate amount of Wuxiangteng leaves, mash them, and apply externally.
②Treatment for rheumatism numbness, bruises, stomach pain, irregular menstruation, and vasculitis: Take four to six qian of Wuxiangteng roots and stems. Decoct and take orally, or soak in alcohol with other ingredients.
